Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. has been undergoing business transformation in recent years. The company’s ambition as detailed in its corporate strategy, SHINKA 2019, is to create value for customers, by evolving into a problem-solving digital company in the era of the Internet of Things (IoT).
It announced today that the company’s Dispatcher Phoenix document workflow software solution was named a finalist in the “IT Software” category by the 2017 World Technology Awards. This award follows the honors received from Hyland Software for the award-winning Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution provider.
In addition to receiving accolades related to its technology, its parent company, Konica Minolta, Inc., was awarded the Grand Prize in the NIKKEI Smart Work Awards 2018 in recognition for its exceptional corporate competence in Human Resources, Innovation, Marketing and Management Fundamentals.
These acknowledgments showcase the company’s drive for digital transformation, with an emphasis on a full suite of value-added IT services.
Notably, Dispatcher Phoenix, a key technology in supporting this initiative, reportedly streamlines document processing tasks, optimizes productivity and increases business efficiencies. Its tools automate manual paper-based processing tasks and handle large volumes of daily content accumulated in their workplace.
“It’s an honor to receive these global accolades for our innovative approach to bringing digital advancement to the industry,” said Kay Du Fernandez, senior vice president, marketing, Konica Minolta. “Being recognized underscores our ongoing commitment to digital transformation and these changes illustrate excellent examples that truly help our clients improve their workplace efficiency and productivity.”
