Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. has announced that Ekta Sahasi has expanded her leadership role to include managing director of research and member of the Konica Minolta Global Strategic Council. She will continue serving as vice president of the Business Innovation Center (BIC) in North America.
The appointment of Sahasi unifies the leadership of the two formerly discrete functions of the BIC and research division. It signals a renewed commitment to innovation through the collaboration of customer-centric business development and expansion of Konica Minolta’s core intellectual property. It further emphasizes the company’s strong commitment to organizational diversity as part of the overall transformation efforts.
In her new role, Sahasi will build on her work transforming Konica Minolta’s core products by leveraging customer-centric innovation, current market trends and emerging technologies. With both departments under her leadership, Ekta is better positioned to drive impactful organizational change through the advancement of research capabilities and contributions to global strategy. She is strengthening ecosystem partners and academic relationships in order to collaborate on joint IP development.
Sahasi joined Konica Minolta in 2014 as the inaugural vice president of the Business Innovation Center in North America. She plays a key role in pioneering new initiatives for internal transformation, expanding core business into markets and driving the global vision of tomorrow’s Konica Minolta.
