Visual Edge Technology has acquired its 30th office equipment company, Dunn’s Business Solutions an independent, and female-owned office equipment, furniture, and supply company in Gaylord, Michigan.
“We are a company rooted in our community. Customer satisfaction is and has always been most important to us,” says Dunn’s president, Theresa McNamara, who has led the company for the last 28 years.
“Their model is exactly what I was looking for””a company that would continue to take care of my employees and my customers, and maybe even do better than I could. I want to see my legacy continue,” says McNamara.
For Dunn’s, it will be business as usual after the acquisition. “The same faces, the same products, the same great service,” adds McNamara. “We hope to add new services and products to increase our customers’ efficiency. That has always been our number one goal.”
The only real change is that, as McNamara transitions out of the business, Dunn’s will carry on under the executive leadership of Danny Brady, president of Brady’s Business Systems, another Visual Edge Technology-owned company.
Like Dunn’s, Brady’s is also an authorized Kyocera reseller, but it will bring the added bonus of expertise in managed print services, document management, and managed IT solutions to Dunn’s customer base.
Danny Brady, President of Brady’s Business Systems, stated, “In a rapidly growing dealer community, it is extremely important for dealers to operate from a stronger competitive position, while remaining independent, within the Visual Edge Technology family.”
Brady’s Business Systems has been serving Central Michigan businesses since 2000 and was acquired by Visual Edge Technology in January.
