The Cannata Report’s 37th Annual Awards & Charities Gala soundtrack has been live on our site since last Thursday, November 10th – the evening of the event, during which we promoted where to stream it live from the stage and on signage throughout the venue. However, we have yet to promote it across our digital channels. We thought the best time to do this would be a week later, before Thanksgiving week. The soundtrack is fantastic for any road trip, dance party, or gathering, catering to various tastes and moods, if not eras. All tracks are songs that trace back 40 years and were either from 1982 or peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1982, in homage to The Cannata Report’s 40th Anniversary.
We received tremendous feedback about the music we used during the awards ceremony at the gala, learning that there were several tables whose guests turned guessing what each song was into a game – something that has inspired me in terms of additional gala extensions and surprises for next year.
