Every year around this time we call on dealers to participate in our annual dealer Survey. It’s a tradition here at The Cannata Report and in the channel. Our Survey allows dealers to see how they are performing against their peers in the industry. It also provides dealers with an opportunity to rate their hardware suppliers, their leasing companies, and their software providers.
We hope that you are anticipating the results of this year’s Survey as much as us. Never before in the history of the Survey or the history of the channel have we experienced a year like 2020. We’ve heard a lot of talk about how 2020 impacted dealers’ businesses across the country, but once the Survey is completed, we will have the data to quantify the impact on the independent dealer channel. The Survey will compare dealers’ performance in 2020 to 2019 and will also serve as a point of comparison for future Surveys as we track how the channel rebounds from the COVID-19 pandemic.
