Epson, a market leader of POS (point of sale) printing solutions, has announced it has been awarded Gold in the prestigious ‘Vendor Award of Excellence’ from the Retail Solutions Providers Association (RSPA). Receiving the top award in the Hardware Manufacturer category, Epson offers a broad line of POS products engineered for reliability and easy integration with solutions to fit retail needs.
Epson also congratulates eight of its EnvisionSM partners and distributors who have been awarded a prestigious ‘Vendor Awards of Excellence:’
- Technology Distributor: M-S Cash Drawer Corporation won Gold, BlueStar won Silver, ScanSource won Bronze
- Hardware Manufacturer: Touch Dynamic tied with Epson for Gold; HANASIS won Silver
- Software: OrderCounter Hybrid POS won Gold; Tonic POS and SpotOn received honorable Mentions

The RSPA Vendor Awards of Excellence are the POS and retail technology industry’s only awards where resellers vote to recognize vendor’s excellence in channel service. RSPA conducted an electronic voting process for a four-week period in which all RSPA reseller members were called upon to vote for the channel vendors they deemed “best in service and support” in six categories.

The RSPA Certification Program identifies companies in the retail technology industry who provide exceptional levels of competence and performance in a professional manner.
