Service Council has added Bruce Nelson to its Industry Advisory Board. Nelson has held many executive level positions in the service industry, with three decades of experience in leading large teams to success in achieving consistent revenue and profit goals, while improving customer KPIs and customer satisfaction scores.
In his present vice presidency role, Nelson is responsible for the strategic initiatives at Hytec Dealer Services, Inc. This includes growing the incredible service depot and PCB repair delivery model Hytec has, with over a 90% market share in the imaging space. He has previously held positions with Lanier, Ricoh, and NCR, developing strategy and innovative plans for continuous improvement and growth. His responsibilities over this time included roles over dealer service, back-office support services, field operations for 4,500 technicians and more than 11,000 managed service employees.
Based in Boston with roots on business social media platform LinkedIn, the Service Council™ exists to provide a nexus of community and information sharing, endeavoring to codify and refine best practices, while raising awareness of the importance and benefits of establishing a service-led organization.
