1. What is The Cannata Report?
The Cannata Report is the leading intelligence resource for imaging reseller principals and senior executives across the business technology, managed services, and imaging industries.
The Cannata Report is the anchor publication of The Cannata Group LLC, which also includes a companion digital platform, thecannatareport.com, The Cannata Report Email Newsletter, and The Cannata Report’s Annual Awards & Charities Gala.
The Cannata Report was founded in 1982 as Office Machine News and was renamed The Cannata Report in 1988. In 2017, The Cannata Report celebrated its 35th anniversary as the industry’s must-read news and opinion resource.
2. What is The Cannata Report’s Annual Dealer Survey and Frank Awards?
Each year, The Cannata Report conducts a national survey throughout the independent dealer channel to gather intelligence about best practices, business leaders, revenue performance, and manufacturers’ performance. Results from the survey determine the winners of The Cannata Report’s Annual Awards, renamed the Frank Awards in 2015 by CJ Cannata in honor of company founder, Frank G. Cannata. The Frank Awards celebrate excellence and achievement and honor major manufacturers, software providers, and leasing companies across nine categories within the business technology, office products, and imaging industry.
3. What is The Cannata Report’s Annual Awards & Charities Gala?
The Cannata Report’s Annual Awards & Charities Gala has collected well over $2 million for charitable organizations nationwide since its inception in 1998. Referred to throughout the industry as simply “the Cannata Dinner,” it is held each year on a Thursday evening in November and includes the presentation of the Frank Awards. Attendance is restricted to The Cannata Report’s subscribers, business partners and their reseller/dealer guests, and the press.
4. Who are the Cannatas?
Frank G. Cannata is the founder of The Cannata Report. He has served as editor-in-chief and publisher, and president and chief operating officer. He is currently editor-at-large.
CJ Cannata serves as president and CEO of The Cannata Report. He became a partner with his father Frank in 2013. CJ has held a variety of positions until assuming his current title in 2019.
Carol C. Cannata is the senior vice president of client services and events for The Cannata Report. She manages all operations associated with The Cannata Report’s event participation and oversees The Cannata Report’s Annual Awards & Charities Dinner.
5. How can I access The Cannata Report?
Complete access to The Cannata Report is through a paid subscription. We offer two subscription packages. Each package provides immediate PDF download and complete site access for one year.
No more passwords. With thecannatareport.com, you only have to log in with your credentials once and the site will grant you automatic and immediate access for a period of one year.
Our PLATINUM package provides access to all print and digital content produced by The Cannata Report. Subscribers receive The Cannata Report’s monthly publication via first-class mail and can download a PDF of the issue via the website. Rates: $550 each (1-5 subscriptions), $475 each (6-10 subscriptions), $450 each (11+ subscriptions).
Our GOLD package provides access to all digital content produced by The Cannata Report, and subscribers receive our monthly publication via a PDF download on the website. Rates: $500 each (1-5 subscriptions), $450 each (6-10 subscriptions), $400 each (11+ subscriptions).
6. How often does The Cannata Report produce content?
We publish breaking news and ongoing developments related to major news events on daily basis on our website and social media platforms.
The Cannata Report publishes a print edition 10 times a year with two double-issues produced in July (cover date July/August) and December (cover date December/January).
7. Can I be notified when new content is produced?
If you would like to be notified when issues are launched via automatic PDF download, and when all other digital-only content posts to our website, please enter and submit your email address on our homepage.
