Taktiful Software Solutions officially has launched Taktify, the first AI-powered cost estimating and pricing platform built specifically for digital print embellishments. Now available to the public after more than 18 months of beta testing, Taktify empowers commercial printers to quote with confidence, increase margins, and eliminate guesswork from every embellished job.
Taktify will make its live public debut at Amplify 2025, the premier print finishing event taking place June 10–12 in Rosemont, IL. Attendees can experience the software in action at booth #4627, where the Taktiful team will run live demos and real-world estimating scenarios.
Designed as a $250/month cloud-based subscription, Taktify delivers precise cost estimates and intelligent selling price recommendations in just seconds. The software calculates production costs based on materials, labor, embellishment coverage, and machine inputs, then uses AI to recommend selling prices tailored to each job’s location, industry vertical, and application. It’s the first tool of its kind to offer this level of market-driven pricing insight specifically for digital embellishment workflows.
“Pricing has always been one of the biggest pain points in this industry,” said Kevin Abergel, CEO and founder of Taktiful. “With Taktify, printers don’t need to guess anymore. You get fast, accurate cost estimates and selling price recommendations that reflect what the market will actually bear. It’s like having an AI-powered pricing strategist on your team.”
Compatible at launch with digital embellishment equipment in North America from MGI, Konica Minolta, and Harris & Bruno, Taktify integrates seamlessly into production workflows for foil, varnish, raised UV, and specialty coating applications. Support for other inkjet and toner-based systems is already in development and will be boarding for launch soon.
One of the earliest adopters of the platform was the Kennickell Group, a Georgia-based print company with a long history of innovation. After investing in MGI and Konica Minolta embellishment equipment, Kennickell turned to Taktify to solve their pricing challenge.
“We started by estimating by the seat of our pants,” said Jana Johnson, vice president of administration at Kennickell. “We had no idea what to charge for embellishments. But once we started using Taktify, we realized we had been underpricing. The software showed us what was possible – and when we raised prices, customers didn’t push back. They saw the value.”
The Kennickell Group saw immediate benefits: faster turnaround times on estimates, a simplified quoting process, and improved price margins that made embellishment a profitable focus for their sales team. “Our salespeople love selling embellished prints now because they actually make money on it,” Johnson added.
Taktify’s impact has gone beyond just pricing. According to Johnson, the software helped drive a cultural shift at the Kennickell Group. “We’re more confident, more efficient, and better equipped to position ourselves as a high-value print provider. It’s been a game changer for us.”

“If you’re offering digital foil, texture, or raised print and not using Taktify,” Abergel said, “you’re probably leaving money on the table.”
