The Business Technology Association will hold its first event of 2022, Spring Break, hosted by BTA Southeast, April 1-2, at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort in Orlando, Florida. Open to office technology dealers from across the country, the event will feature: a keynote address on customer service excellence led by former Disney trainer Louie Gravance; six additional educational sessions led by industry leaders; time to network with peers and exhibiting sponsors during a welcoming reception and breaks; and a ticket to a Disney theme park to be used the afternoon of April 2.
The event will begin at 8 a.m. on Friday, April 1, with breakfast, followed by welcoming comments and the first educational session, “Visual Edge’s Managed IT Services Strategy,” led by David Ramos of Visual Edge IT. A break, giving attendees time to visit with peers and exhibiting sponsors, will follow. Breaks between sessions on both days will also give attendees additional networking time. The keynote, “Service is a Superpower,” will follow. During the keynote, Gravance will explore what a “wow moment” in customer service looks, sounds and feels like, and why delivering these moments is good for everyone involved.
Lunch will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. Following lunch, three more educational sessions will be held: “Eliminate Making a Bad Hire Forever,” led by Dale Stein and Brian Suerth of Technology Assurance Group (TAG), and Mike Ardry of Automated Business Solutions; “Data Trends to Improve Your Bottom Line,” led by Wes McArtor of NEXERA, A BEI Services Company; and “What Sales Compensation Could Look Like in the Future,” led by Luis Gonzalez of SalesScoreKeeper. Following the educational sessions, a welcoming reception will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Yacht Club Marina, wrapping up the first day.
The second day of Spring Break will begin at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, with breakfast, followed by opening comments and the final two educational sessions: “Win It Easy or Come in Fourth: Business Lessons From My Dad, The Race Car Driver,” led by Troy Harrison of Troy Harrison & Associates; and “LinkedIn to Win: Pro Tips to Unleash Your Potential on the #1 B2B Sales Platform,” led by Rick Lambert of selltowin and In2communications.
