Agfa (Mortsel, Belgium) has concluded its investigation into the cybersecurity incident that occurred in November, when a ransomware group claimed to have obtained data from the companyās systems.
The investigation by the Agfa Cybersecurity Teams and external cybersecurity experts confirmed that the ransomware group only obtained older, non-sensitive data that are no longer related to Agfa. Agfa therefore considers this incident closed. All of Agfaās systems have remained fully operational at all times and no personal or company-critical data have been compromised.
Protecting information and ensuring the security of all stakeholders are top priorities for Agfa. The company applies rigorous measures to safeguard its systems and data against any form of cyber threat.
