The Foundation for Graphic Communication Education (formerly PGSF) and Dscoop, the exclusive community of HP Industrial Print and Large Format owners and users, first came together in 2025 to create the Dscoop Grant Program, designed to support students pursuing careers in graphic arts. We’re proud and excited to announce the 2027 edition, with selected students earning the opportunity to attend the Dscoop Edge Charlotte event, February 28–March 3, 2027.
About This Grant
The Dscoop Edge Charlotte Grant 2027 is awarded by Dscoop — the world’s largest community for HP Industrial Print users — to outstanding students pursuing careers in graphic arts, printing, packaging, or related fields. Students enrolled in business administration programs who have demonstrated involvement in the printing industry are also eligible.
Recipients are selected based on academic merit, professional involvement in the printing industry, and a compelling personal essay. The grant is designed to open doors to the global Dscoop community by enabling recipients to attend Edge Charlotte, Dscoop’s flagship conference.
Dscoop is a year-round program
Edge is one important moment, but it’s not the only opportunity. The Dscoop Grant Program is an ongoing program. Students are encouraged to request funds that can support their education, career growth, or professional development, even after the event. This could include future Dscoop events, learning opportunities, or experiences that help them move closer to their career goals.
Students who join Dscoop can stay connected year-round through:
- Online sessions and community conversations
- Educational content shared by industry professionals
- Ongoing access to a global network of people willing to share and help
To qualify for a grant, students must be enrolled as a junior or above in graphic communications, visual or design technology, or print-centric educational program (four-year university, master’s, or doctoral program) and have shown strong academic performance and demonstrate a desire to have a career in the graphic communications industries.
