Impact Networking is expanding its operations into Cleveland, Ohio effective immediately, the company’s first branch in the state.
Impact’s new Cleveland, Ohio office opened this year, bringing new tech jobs to the area in sales, IT, and cybersecurity with plans to add more in the future.
Impact will offer IT, cybersecurity, and managed digital transformation (including AI strategy), and managed marketing services to businesses in Cleveland and surrounding areas. The company has been in the IT space since 2016 and launched a dedicated cybersecurity services division in 2020 alongside cybersecurity partner DOT Security.
Impact Networking’s Ohio branch, Impact Ohio, was founded by Ken Vanden Haute, an accomplished technology and sales leadership professional with over 30 years of experience in business technology who will serve as the President of Impact Ohio.
A lifelong Cleveland resident, Vanden Haute’s founding of Impact Ohio demonstrates his ongoing dedication to fostering growth in Northeast Ohio’s local technology sector. His efforts to promote technology awareness and education include speaking engagements, serving on nonprofit technology boards, and spearheading Impact’s community-driven initiatives in the region.
Impact Networking CEO Mike Lepper says the company has the utmost trust in Vanden Haute to expand Impact into Ohio and beyond.
“Cleveland is a great market for us with a lot of growth potential, and Ken has the skillset to successfully start it up, and to establish us there in the IT and cybersecurity spaces,” Lepper said. “He knows managed services and how to build markets. We’re going to start off very strategically in Cleveland, allow our service portfolio to grow over a couple of years, and then start looking for additional expansion in Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton, Detroit, Ann Arbor, and potentially Pennsylvania and Kentucky in the near future.”
This marks Impact’s fifth new state expansion since being founded in Illinois in 1999. Impact expanded to Wisconsin and Indiana in 2007, California in 2017, and Texas in 2020.
