Pulse Technology, a technology company serving the IT, Managed Print Services and other needs of businesses throughout the Midwest and beyond, has expanded its service and product offerings to include mailing equipment, as a new distributor/dealer for FP Mailing Solutions.
Pulse Technology now offers mailing equipment including postage machines, folder inserters, desktop folders, letter openers, paper joggers, and scales. Pulse will be able to sell¸ lease, and service the equipment, which is seen as a great add-on for businesses and organizations looking to streamline their internal mailing needs.
“These are turnkey mailing solutions,” said Vince Miceli, vice president of technology, adding, “These machines can feed envelopes in, stamp them and they are ready to go. For the office environment where handling mail is becoming more and more time consuming, the right equipment and technical solution can change all of that.”

Miceli said that there has been considerable interest in mailing support in the Chicago market. “We’ve already sold some machines to several law firms,” he noted. The versatility of the FP Mailing menu offers solutions for a large range of needs, from companies who mail as few as four or five letters per day to those who have large volume needs of 20,000 pieces per month.
Pulse Technology has introduced the concept at a “Lunch and Learn” technology show, and plans to introduce the new product line through additional open houses and demonstrations.
“There are misconceptions in the industry that a company like Pitney Bowes has a monopoly on the mailing machine market,” he said. “We believe that for our clients, however, having the resources of FP Mailing Services behind us will enable us to continue in our mission to be as close to a one-stop shop as possible for our clients.”
