Press release from the issuing company:

SCREEN Americas has installed a Truepress Jet L350UV to Printoly of Pompano Beach, Florida. The digital inkjet roll-fed press now accounts for 100% of Printoly’s label production, which was previously performed on wide-format technology.

Printoly got its start in 2023 printing signs, decals and labels using a wide-format press. Since the installation of the Truepress Jet L350UV in March 2025, the company’s growth has increased from 5% to 20% month over month. Printoly now generates tens of thousands of labels per day and completes jobs within one to five days. In some instances, customers find themselves with same-dayĀ service.

The Truepress Jet L350UV not only brought speed to Printoly, but significant press uptime and high-quality imaging and color. The press deploys inkjet heads using 4 level grayscale and a small 3pL drop size to provide high definition and stunning images. SCREEN’s expertise in waveform technology, color management and image screening, allows the press to produce high-end image quality with over 90% uptime. Printoly’s Co-President Dr. Paul Jackson has been impressed with the press’s engineering. ā€œThe image quality that the L350UV produces looks stunning with smooth gradients, vivid prints and standout registration when compared to others,ā€ said Dr. Jackson. ā€œThe color is vibrant and the contrast is exceptional. We’ve also been able to capture fine print as little as 1.6Ā pt.ā€

The CMYK+W inks configuration has allowed Printoly to create the appearance of special effects such as liquid, brushed steel and shimmer. ā€œI’ve mastered the color to the point where some of my customers were surprised when I told them that what they were looking at wasn’t actually foil, but a metallic substrate,ā€ said Dr.Ā Jackson.

For Printoly, it would be difficult to name a substrate that hasn’t passed through the Truepress Jet L350UV. The company prides itself on having a wide selection of BOPP stock including white, metallic, silver, clear, holographic and specialty. For a more classic look, customers can choose labels printed on semigloss, ivory, cream, estate paper, cardstock or pearlescent stock in a variety of shapes and sizes with adhesive that is either removable orĀ permanent.

As a startup company, Dr. Jackson valued the knowledge and training that SCREEN Americas was able to provide before, during and after the installation. He has also found SCREEN’s service to be exemplary. ā€œI usually get a call back within five to 30 minutes whenever I have an issue,ā€ said Dr. Jackson. ā€œPlus, it’s directly from a field technician or engineer who knows my press, so the problem is usually solved pretty quickly. There aren’t any barriers to getting help from SCREEN—no multiple layers of communication, just one call to the rightĀ source.ā€

Printoly serves a wide range of markets including food, beverage, medical, pharmaceutical, health, cosmetics, durables, industrial, manufacturing, logistics, cleaning, medical marijuana, pet and retail. The facility is 2,500 square feet and has the best filtration system in the area. Dr. Jackson, who holds a doctorate in clinical pharmacy, is not shy in describing Printoly as having a near-sterile environment. ā€œHaving experience in compounding, herbs and nutrition, I’m used to a pristine workplace,ā€ said Dr. Jackson. ā€œNot only can I provide a higher level of professional insight to the nutraceutical and pharmaceutical industries, I can comfortably invite those partners into a welcoming facility for a hands-on approach to their label creation on the Truepress JetĀ L350UV.ā€

Printoly employs six individuals and operates a single shift five days aĀ week.
