In case you haven’t noticed, this has been a quiet year for acquisitions. Surprise, surprise, right?
By our count there have been 18 dealer acquisitions publicized to date compared to 70 publicized dealer acquisitions in 2019. For the record, we are talking publicized acquisitions because not every acquisition is announced. Considering this is the last day of July and we are more than halfway through the year, it is doubtful the number of publicized dealer acquisitions will exceed 30 in 2020.
With that in mind, let’s turn back the clock to the June 2019 issue of The Cannata Report for our Flashback Friday feature, “The Buying Game.” In that issue, the office imaging industry’s leading acquirers discuss their acquisition strategies.
