Juan Fernandez, vice president of Managed IT Services at Oklahoma-based managed services provider ImageNet Consulting, was awarded the vice-chair position on CompTIA’s Channel Development Advisory Council (CDAC).
CompTIA’s CDAC provides counsel and insight in all matters relating to the indirect technology market. The board is comprised of the industry’s most influential leaders, representing hardware manufacturers, software publishers, services organizations, distributors, telecommunications companies and technology solution providers.
Fernandez, a longtime member of CompTIA and recognized leader in the information technology space, joins the 20-member council after being voted in by the other council members.
“CompTIA is very near and dear to my heart, as CompTIA certifications were a foundational aspect of my career and an important contributor to my knowledge and best practices today. It’s an honor to give back to the channel community. I am deeply moved by the expression of confidence from the council. I look forward to providing a high level of value to the council,” said Fernandez.
Annette Taber, senior vice president of industry outreach at CompTIA, said Fernandez’s thought leadership will add fresh perspective to the council.

He brings tremendous expertise in the areas of strategy implementation and technology development, which are both vital to the content being developed by our CDAC.
