As part of its 50th anniversary celebration, Usherwood Office Technology hosted employees and representatives from CenterState CEO at its Syracuse headquarters. The event included the official dedication of two conference rooms honoring company founders Carol and Charles Usherwood.
Founded in 1976, Usherwood has gone from a family-run business operating out of the Usherwoods’ home in Oswego, New York, to one of the Northeast’s leading providers of office technology, managed IT services, and business solutions. Today, the company remains family-owned.
The newly dedicated Carol Usherwood Conference Room and Charles Usherwood, Sr. Conference Room recognize the vision, leadership, and values on which Usherwood was built and continues to uphold today.
“As we continue to celebrate 50 years of business, it’s important to remember the people whose commitment, sacrifices, and dedication made this milestone possible,” said Lou Usherwood, chief executive officer. “My parents built this company with a simple belief: take care of your people and your customers, and success will follow. Renaming these rooms is a meaningful way to recognize everything they’ve done for Usherwood.”
The conference rooms serve as more than a 50th anniversary tribute to the company’s founders. They are a permanent reminder of the people who started it all and the legacy they built, which will continue to inspire generations of employees to come.
The dedication is one of several initiatives taking place throughout Usherwood’s 50th anniversary year, highlighting the people, milestones, and values that have defined the company for five decades.
