Stramaglio Consulting has announced that Kate Mason, sales director at Kraft Business Systems (Grand Rapids, Michigan), has joined The Breakaway Team, an initiative of The Consortium designed to foster growth, innovation, and intergenerational collaboration across the workplace services industry.
The Breakaway Team, launched in May 2024, was established to leverage the insights and energy of emerging industry leaders while strengthening dialogue between generations. Since its formation, the team has continued to expand its reach and influence, delivering its third major public presentation at ECS 26.
Throughout her career, Mason has paired frontline selling experience with a growing leadership role, and her path through the channel — intern, outside rep, and a series of roles across the business before moving into sales leadership — gives her a perspective on the industry from nearly every seat. At Kraft Business Systems, she now leads a team of account managers and specialists and is focused on developing the next generation of sellers while helping clients navigate a rapidly changing technology landscape.
Mason shared her enthusiasm about joining the initiative: “I started in this industry as an intern, and I’ve been fortunate to see it from almost every angle since — outside rep, roles across the business, and now sales leadership,” she said. “What excites me about The Breakaway Team is that it isn’t a panel about the future — it’s a group actually working on it. I want to bring the perspective of the people coming up in this channel and make sure the ideas we talk about turn into something teams can put to work.”
