The business technology industry is Alive & Kicking and The Cannata Report will celebrate its vitality at its 33rd Annual Awards & Charities Dinner on November 8 at The Madison Hotel in Morristown, NJ.
Sponsored by Hytec Dealer Services, PSIGEN Software and new this year Continuum, an IT management platform company, the 2018 Cannata Dinner is raising funds for Tackle Kids Cancer, a philanthropic program benefitting the Children’s Cancer Institute at Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack University Medical Center.
Nominations for the 2018 Frank Awards that honor A-list executives and companies from the manufacturing, financial, software services and dealer segments of the print and business technology industry were previously released. Nominations are determined by the results of The Cannata Report’s Annual Dealer Survey that provides in-depth analysis and trend information regarding the independent dealer channel and is sponsored for the fifth consecutive year by TIAA. Results of the Survey are released in The Cannata Report’s October and November 2018 issues.
In addition to the Frank Awards given in nine distinct categories, The Cannata Report will also bestow a Lifetime Achievement Award to industry icon Tom Johnson, founder of Global Imaging Systems.

The Alive & Kicking theme carries through to the Annual Awards & Charities Dinner’s official after party exclusively sponsored by All Covered. It is also the inspiration for the 3rd Annual Women Influencers Brunch held November 9 and sponsored by Ametek ESP, with co-sponsors EFI, Konica Minolta, and Supplies Network. The Brunch celebrates leading female executives featured in The Cannata Report’s 5th Anniversary Women Influencers issue (July/August 2018).
To date, The Cannata Report’s Annual Awards & Charities Dinner has raised more than $2.2 million for charitable organizations nationwide. Business Technology Association’s General Counsel Bob Goldberg serves as emcee and Sharp Electronics Corporation will produce the 2018 awards portion of the Cannata Dinner as A/V sponsor.
