āThe Annual Dealer Survey has long been the most important barometer of dealer sentiment in our industry,ā saidĀ CJ Cannata, president and CEO. āFor 40 years, it has given the independent dealer channel a powerful, collective voice that helps manufacturers better understand their dealer partners and gives a laser focus to our editorial coverage so that we continually provide dealers with meaningful insights they can use to make informed business decisions.ā
The 40th Annual Dealer Survey was conducted fromĀ April through July 2025, with findings reported in theĀ October and November 2025 issues ofĀ The Cannata ReportĀ and featured on our website. In addition to providing critical insights into dealer sentiment and manufacturer performance, the Survey also determined the winners of the Frank Awards, which were announced at our 40th Anniversary Awards & Charities GalaĀ held in November.
The Gala raised $188,000 for diabetes research at the Inserra Family Diabetes Institute at Hackensack Meridian Hackensack University Medical Center in memory of Mike McGuirk, founder of ProCopy Office Solutions of Mesa, Arizona, a Flex Technology Company. The Annual Dealer Surveyās findings provide an in-depth overview of the current state of the office technology industry based on insights and data from dealers nationwide. It was revamped this year to stay in step with new industry developments and provide a more user-friendly interface with a shorter completion time. For 40 years, it has allowed dealers the opportunity to evaluate the performance of the industryās manufacturers and leasing partners, identify key business challenges, and provide feedback on areas of diversification, as well as traditional revenue streams. Dealer survey participants also vote for the winners of the Frank Awards, which recognize excellence and innovation in the office technology industry.
In addition to the chance to win one of the four cash prizes of $2,025.40, survey respondents who were partners of ACDI, Kyocera, LEAF Commercial Capital, Ricoh, Sharp, Toshiba, U.S. Bank, and Xerox were eligible to receive two complimentary digital subscriptions toĀ The Cannata Report.Ā
