Using skills honed during a nearly 17-year career with Konica Minolta, Pagliarello and his new team have put Sharp on the production printing map in a relatively short time period, Cannata observes. Office technology dealers are moving to Sharp
Cannata shares that he has heard about major dealers bringing on Sharp’s line of digital presses. “The momentum is real,” Pagliarello assures, confirming that Sharp has indeed gotten traction from some established dealerships. Specialty color seems to be the big differentiator, he adds, warning that “CMYK is a race to the bottom.” Sharp’s six-color print engine platform yields the high-volume productivity and profitability that many commercial print service providers and in-plant shops require to satisfy pent-up demand.
