Founder Frank G. Cannata continues chatting with Ron Doebler, ISI product manager for Epson. Doebler explains how the national distributor’s focus is on both A3 and A4 product lines. For Impression Solutions Inc., it’s all about selling the end user what they need, he says, adding that Epson’s heat-free, PrecisionCore technology can be a “green” bonus. With DCs in the Northeast, Midwest, West Coast, and Deep South, ISI has the United States well covered, Cannata learns.
The distributor’s internal lab coordinates with OEMs Epson and Kyocera, plus ISI works directly with dealers, too. They offer turnkey preconfiguration services that are plug and play, according to Doebler, which can be especially attractive to smaller dealerships. He issues a challenge to “Fridays with Frank” viewers who may be tied up with manufacturers. “We are not going to push a big quota on you,” Doebler emphasizes, encouraging dealers to see what it’s like working with ISI: a different type of distributor.
