Ā Pulse Technology, a technology company serving the IT, Managed Print Services and other needs of businesses throughout the Midwest and beyond, has promoted Paul Miceli to the position of director of its Audio Visual division.
In this role, Miceli leads a division that has spun off from the Managed Services (IT) division and will promote two new service models, CRaaS (Conference Room as a Service) and AVaaS (Audio-Visual as a Service).
The concept changes AV from a commodity (āif it breaks, fix it or replace itā) to an ongoing monthly business model, introducing CRaaS (Conference Room as a Service) and AVaaS (Audio Visual as a Service) modeled after the SaaS (Software as a Service) concept. Pulse Technologyās AV team works with clients who use conference rooms on an ongoing basis, managing their AV needs, and providing hardware, software, service, labor ad ongoing maintenance similar to what would happen under an MSP plan. Miceli plans to expand the number of CRaaS and AVaaS clients; their work includes indoor and outdoor venues.
Paul Miceli, a 25-year plus veteran of the 70-year, multi-generation family business, studied at the Illinois Institute of Technology, and holds a number of industry certifications, including Sharp, Lenovo & MSPA. In his spare time, he races his Mustang on the road courses at the Autobahn and Gingerman. He lives on a farm and raises Rocky Mountain horses.
Vince Miceli, vice president of technology at Pulse Technology, explains. āWeāre excited about the AV division spinning off on its own as a stand-along department within our company, and Paulās background, experience and knowledge makes him the ideal person to lead this growing division. We look forward to our continued expansion in this growing area.ā
