In this week’s episode, Founder Frank G. Cannata continues his conversation with Katun Corp.’s Chief Strategy Officer Chenyi Chiu, who explains how the company competes in a compressed market. The channel is indeed constricted, Chiu admits; some say it is declining. However, Katun thinks in a different way, he stresses. How so?
The strategic executive suggests that a broader business model is required. Cannata finds Katun’s aftermarket supply angle interesting. They’re selling parts, too, Chiu notes. The end goal is to provide value—and to help dealer owners increase profitability. “We want to explore new areas together,” he states. And, while it’s too soon to go into detail, watch for new developments coming from Katun, he tells Cannata.
