In this week’s episode, Founder Frank G. Cannata tells viewers about his recent visit to Long Island, New York dealer LDI Connect’s “Fall Technology Showcase.” Held in New York City on October 30th, the event featured the grand opening of the LDI-MAXHUB Experience Center—an immersive environment where businesses, educators, and innovators can explore the electronic display tools that are redefining collaboration, the company says. An excited Frank says the trip recharged him. Why? Because, by partnering with MAXHUB, LDI President & CEO Jerry Blaine is “looking at a future” that will accomplish product diversification and improve profitability for the dealership.
Beyond e-displays and security cams, the print medium was on display, too, in Times Square. Other companies with a prominent presence at the LDI tech showcase included Canon, Duplo, HP, Samsung, Sharp, and Xanté, Cannata notes. The latter, a U.S. manufacturer, showed a UV inkjet flatbed printer capable of printing on wood. There seem to be devices now that can print on “every conceivable substrate,” he observes.
At The Cannata Report’s 40th Annual Awards & Charities Gala on November 13, Frank presented LDI’s Jerry Blaine, his old friend, with our Philanthropy Award.
