Happy Monday! Time to start your week with The Cannata Report’s Manic Monday, featuring  imaging industry news highlights from the previous week condensed for quick and easy reading in  two minutes or less.

Here’s the news from February 8 through February 12.

Stramaglio Consulting announced Hiro Ueda has joined the company as partner and COO.

Ricoh USA was declared the winner of the Best Cloud Hosting Provider in the international Cloud Computing Awards program, The Cloud Awards.

Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America announced that CRN, a brand of The Channel Company, has named John Sheehan, senior vice president of Channel Sales, and Bob Madaio, vice president of Marketing, to its 2021 list of Channel Chiefs.

Square 9 Softworks announced its release of Education Essentials. This cloud-hosted solution helps school districts digitally transform student records and securely stores them in an information management system while protecting confidential information.

Pulse Technology announced a new partnership with Formed AI, a company which will provide business automation, forms and workflow software and solutions with new capabilities to Pulse’s clients.

Konica Minolta announced the latest addition to its new generation of the bizhub A4 series, the bizhub 4750i and the 4050i monochrome MFPs and the bizhub 4700i monochrome single function printer.

On March 10-11, the Business Technology Association will host its ProFinance 3.0 workshop at BTA member dealership Hendrix Business Systems in Matthews, North Carolina.

HP Inc. unveiled HP Amplify Impact, an industry-first partner assessment, resource, and training program aimed at driving change across its three Sustainable Impact pillars – Planet, with an emphasis on climate change; People with an emphasis on human rights and social justice; and Community with an emphasis on bridging the digital divide. Partners that pledge to join the HP Amplify Impact program will work with HP to assess their own practices.

Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America has added four new monochrome devices to their business product line. The new MX-B427W MFP and MX-B427PW printers offer output speeds up to 42 pages per minute (ppm), while the new MX-B467F MFP and MX-B467P printers offer output speeds up to 46 ppm.

Electronics For Imaging, Inc. recognized its top-performing Fiery dealer partner, Beaverton, Oregon-based Pacific Office Automation, for its growth and success helping customers achieve their goals using EFI Fiery digital front ends (DFEs) and digital print workflow solutions.
