- As promised, Xerox finalized the Lexmark acquisition transaction in Q3 ’25 on July 1; Allen Waugerman has stepped down as Lexmarkās president and CEO.
- OEM Brother was under fire as a lack of printer security exposed devices to hackers. Several critical vulnerabilities, including weak passwords, were discovered in various models made by Brother as well as other manufacturers, according to Rapid7 Labs.
- In his latest “Veterans Way” column (presentednby U.S. Bank), Founder Frank G. Cannata interviews U.S. Air Force 20-year veteran Stew Campbell, an IT expert at dealer Datamax. Campbell is a finalist for The Cannata Report’s Outstanding Veteran Award in 2025.
